What's the difference between 1-way, 2-way, and the pro 2-way systems?
1-way systems send signals from your remote to your car, but don't confirm if the command was received. 2-way systems provide confirmation on your remote when your car receives the command. Pro 2-way systems offer all the features of 2-way systems, plus the ability to control your vehicle through a smartphone app, giving you the longest range and most convenience.
How far can I be from my car to use the remote start?
The range varies depending on the system you choose. 1-way systems typically have a range of about 1000 feet. 2-way systems can reach up to 1 mile in optimal conditions. 3-way systems that use smartphone connectivity can work from virtually any distance as long as both your phone and car have cellular service.
Will installing a remote start void my car's warranty?
When installed correctly by certified professionals like us, a remote start system should not void your vehicle's warranty. In Canada, consumers have the right to make aftermarket modifications. However, if the remote start system directly causes damage to your vehicle (which is extremely rare with professional installation), that specific damage might not be covered under warranty.
