Car Paint Correction Winnipeg

Enhance Your Shine with Crystal Auto's Paint Enhancement Correction
Want your car to shine?
Don’t just get your vehicle waxed - get a paint correction.
Paint corrections remove swirl marks, scratches, and other defects from your vehicle. The result is a beautiful, high-gloss finish that stands out. Once all of the imperfections on your vehicle have been polished away, we can apply a protective coating to keep your car, truck, or van looking shiny and new.

Even for brand-new vehicles with a brand-new paint job, paint correction can help you get light swirls and minor scratching off the paint. From there, we can use paint protection to keep your vehicle looking new.

Our Paint Correction Services

Not every vehicle needs a three-step paint correction process; some vehicles will only need a one or two-step process. The different levels of paint correction refer to differing levels of polishing. The amount of polishing and correction you’ll need will depend on a number of factors, including your vehicle’s paint type and thickness, as well as the number of scratches and imperfections on your vehicle. We will never oversell you paint correction—we’ll only do as much polishing as your vehicle needs.
1

One-Step Paint Enhancement Correction

One-step paint correction is well suited to paint that’s in fairly good condition; new vehicles and vehicles that haven’t been driven often fall under this category most of the time. This level of correction can polish away very minor scratches, swirls, and other defects; the polish isn’t quite abrasive enough to tackle deeper defects.
2

Two-Step Paint Enhancement Correction

Two-step paint correction is appropriate for vehicles with swirl marks and light to moderate scratches. We start with a more abrasive polishing pad in order to remove defects, then switch to a finishing polishing pad to remove any final defects, including those left by the first polish.
3

Three-Step Paint Enhancement Correction

Three-step paint correction is for vehicles with significant swirling, scratching, and other defects. The process starts with our most heavy-duty polisher. We then move to the polishing pads used in two-step and one-step paint correction, ensuring that all of the marring, scratching, and defects on your paint are polished away.

Frequently Asked Questions

How Does Paint Correction Work?

Paint correction uses polishing to level the paint or clear coat on your vehicle and fill in minor imperfections like scratches and swirls. The polishing typically happens in several stages, with the end result being a high-gloss finish. In most cases, you’ll also protect your vehicle with a coating once the paint correction is completed.

How Long Does the Paint Correction Process Take?

The amount of time paint correction takes varies based on the size and type of your vehicle, your vehicle’s paint, and other factors. For us, a typical paint correction takes anywhere from 2-8 hours—and that’s without counting decontamination, protective coatings, or other services that typically come with paint correction. You can expect us to work on your vehicle for about 1-2 days.

Will Paint Correction Remove All Scratches and Imperfections From My Car?

Paint correction will remove the vast majority of scratches, swirls, and imperfections from your vehicle—but it may not get all of them. There are some imperfections that are practically impossible to get out of, and working too hard on them would thin the paint or clear coat around them too much. Don’t worry; we’ll polish your vehicle to a shine, even if there are one or two practically unnoticeable imperfections left over.
